Paul is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and has been in the waste sector for 28 years. He started his career in waste regulation (prior to and with the Environment Agency) before moving to local authority service delivery in NW England ultimately running inhouse waste collection, street cleaning and grounds maintenance services. After a period as an independent and then ‘corporate’ consultant Paul returned to the public sector with the country’s largest Waste Disposal Authority – the Greater Manchester Combined Authority – where he is the Head of Commercial Services.
