My upbringing in rural Galloway and educational background in environmental geography and teaching, has shaped my passion and mission to make a difference in the way we see the planet, how we use resources and how we can reduce our impact. I communicate these important issues in my work, initially as a Waste Strategist for a local authority and currently with Zero Waste Scotland. This has involved me teaching litter and waste awareness in schools, supporting national recycling campaigns, collaborating with local authorities and working towards Scotland’s transition to a circular economy.
