
My upbringing in rural Galloway and educational background in environmental geography and teaching, has shaped my passion and mission to make a difference in the way we see the planet, how we use resources and how we can reduce our impact.
2 and a half years in Falkirk Council Waste Services as a Waste Strategist and then Education Enforcement Officer, teaching litter, waste and recycling in local schools and developing local campaigns.
Over 2 years with Zero Waste Scotland supporting national recycling campaigns, collaborating with local authorities and working towards Scotland’s transition to a circular economy.
Avid litter picker with my local community groups, volunteer with my local schools to teach circularity (Falkirk Council secondary climate summit) and food waste hero with Olio.
