Bron Afon Community Housing were thrilled to have been shortlisted for the awards and were impressed by all the other entries in their category.  It was a great honour to win the Best Business Partnership Category with the charities TRAC2 and RESICLO, we thoroughly enjoyed the awards ceremony in London, what an amazing venue and excellent opportunity to network with others!  The team at Bron Afon have implemented new ways of working to reduce, reuse and recycle working in partnership with local charities to benefit their communities and the environment.  The work we are doing increases each year and as a result of this award the organisation is looking to expand operations and move the recycling centre to larger premises.  Winning the award has generated a lot of press interest and publicity which we hope other Housing Associations will see so they can learn about the work we are doing and follow suit.  We are looking forward to entering the 2017 awards.
Michelle Smith, Business Administration Manager, Bron Afon Community Housing winner of Best Business Partnership Category
We were thrilled that World of Books was named Retail / Service Sector Recycler of the Year at the National Recycling Awards 2016. Winning the award is a great achievement and it is a testament to the work that our employees and partners are doing. It has helped to raise our profile in the sector and to further develop our supplier relations and partnerships. It really feels that this award has put World of Books on the recycling map and will continue to be a talking point and a source of pride for years to come
Stephen Boobyer, Managing Director, winner of Retail/Service Sector Recycler of the Year
The National Recycling Awards are the UK’s most high profile celebration of recycling and waste management performance, so we were naturally thrilled to have been named 2016 Resource Management Business of the Year. Winning a National Recycling Award is a highly prestigious accolade and something that everyone at Reconomy is exceptionally proud to have achieved. Every year the National Recycling Awards attract the biggest and best of the waste and resource sectors, so it’s great to be in such esteemed company
Paul Cox, , Managing Director, winner of Resource Management Business of the Year , Reconomy
We always felt that our Gritbuster WT-250 was a strong product. After all it helps recycling companies separate out the constituent elements of the waste they handle, ensuring they both recycle more and save money. But getting that message across in a busy market place is always the challenge. That’s where winning the National Recycling Award really helps.  It’s putting our technology in front of even more recycling companies and local authorities
George Anderson, Director, Siltbuster winner of Equipment Innovation
