Team of the Year – Public/Third Sector - National Recycling Awards
Who should enter: Any public/third sector team within the waste and recycling sector in the UK or Republic of Ireland. The definition of a team in this context will be employees from one organisation working in unison towards the same goal. Third sector organisations are defined as not-for-profit organisations that are values driven and independent of government, such as charities, voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises and cooperatives.
About the award: People are at the heart of delivering the products, processes and services needed to deliver high performance in waste and resource management. This award recognises any public/third sector team within the waste/recycling sector in the UK or Republic of Ireland that has shown a collective commitment to go above and beyond what is expected or contracted in order to deliver top results.
What the judges will look for: Evidence of a team that has gone above and beyond contractual expectations to deliver excellent results within the waste/recycling sector. Judges will look for proper team work and commitment to shared goals, backed up with results that show excellent performance.
