NEW - Excellence in learning and development - National Recycling Awards
Who should enter: Any UK or Republic of Ireland-based organisation within the resource and waste management sector.
About the award: This award recognises the delivery of a successful, structured employee learning and development scheme that inspires, develops and challenges employees. Apprenticeships are included within this category.
What the judges are looking for: Evidence of a well-structured programme leading to a recognised occupation, which can be transferred to other relevant employers, and is sufficiently skilled to require employment and training of at least a year’s duration. This will be a scheme that is worthy of recognition in the industry: an example for others to follow. They will look for evidence that it is teaching, developing and inspiring employees, and adding value to the business.
