The Awards goes virtual on 27 January 2021
Due to recent government announcements around Covid-19, the National Recycling Awards (NRAs) and conference will now be run as two separate free-to-attend virtual events, giving more people the opportunity to attend.
While the virtual NRA conference remains on 15 December 2020, the National Recycling Awards ceremony has now moved to 27 January 2021, to give the awards a separate platform to the conference. The event will run from 4pm, with the winners of the 2020 National Recycling Awards announced, as well as a special Editor’s Award recognising the industry’s sterling efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new date will ensure that we can put together a fantastic virtual event that captures as much as possible the spirit of the long-running and popular physical awards ceremony, often referred to as the Oscars of the recycling world. This year, comedian Tom Allen will be hosting the awards, bringing some much-needed light and humour to attendees via their screens.
More details on how to register for the awards will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, to register your interest please email Laura.Glenister@emap.com.
